ISO 9001:2015 / European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU
Pennsylvania Machine Works, LLC, carries International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification to include compliance with European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED ). ISO confirms we meet international standards for quality management, while PED ensures we meet the safety requirements outlined in the European Union’s directive.
Commercial and Government Entity (U.S. CAGE) Numbers
All US Drop Forge materials are tested for potential safety exposure risks, as well as the physical qualities of our forgings. Our MSDS also lists precautions taken by our personnel to stay safe around our materials, processes, and products.
OSHA SHARP Certification
The Penn Machine believes that safety and quality go hand in hand. To demonstrate our commitment to creating a safe workplace, we’ve achieved inclusion in the OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). This affirms that we offer exemplary workplace safety and health systems.

Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

Globally Harmonized System (GHS) Safety Data Sheet
This is the internationally standardized format for Safety Data Sheets. The GHS Safety Data Sheet provides a consistent way to communicate hazard information for chemical products.
Canadian Registration Number (CRN)
A CRN is issued by a Canadian province or territory, certifying that the design and specifications of pressure equipment have been reviewed and approved for use in that jurisdiction.
California Proposition 65 Compliance
This compliance requires businesses to provide a clear and reasonable warning to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that the state has listed as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
USMCA Certification
The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Certification is a trade compliance certification that certifies goods are eligible for preferential, duty-free treatment under the agreement.

Material Test Reports
Penn Machine provides comprehensive Material Test Reports (MTRs) at no additional charge with all forged fittings, ensuring full traceability. From the initial batch of raw steel, every component is tracked through the forging and machining processes to the final product. This commitment to traceability guarantees the integrity and quality of every part.
